Welcome to my blog! Today I want to take you on a journey of discovery of sensual taste and insightful gastronomenie 😍. In case you're wondering what it's all about, we're looking at how to make vegan madeleines that are so delicious, even non-vegans will love them! 🍪. And if you've only ever known madeleines as a sweet treat, you'll be surprised how good they taste to us in their vegan version, too!
Today we dedicate ourselves to a classic French pastry called Madeleines - but in the vegan version 🌏. To give you a visual impression of how these delicacies should look in the end, I have a suitable video for you here.
So against directly go, this will be a real taste explosion 🙌 ! First, of course, we need the ingredients for our vegan madeleines. For about 12 pieces you need:
To enhance the whole form technically, I recommend a madeleines baking dish 🍰. Since madeleines get their characteristic shape from this special baking dish, it is almost essential!
Now we have everything together to start preparing 👍. And the best part is that the vegan madeleines are super easy to make! Here comes the step by step instructions:
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 190 degrees and lightly grease the madeleines mold.
Step 2: In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and baking powder. In a second bowl, melt the vegan butter and mix it with the soy milk, apple cider vinegar and lemon zest.
Step 3: Now add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix everything well until a smooth dough is formed. Let it swell for about 10 minutes.
Step 4: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake the madeleines for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Let them cool briefly before dusting them with a little powdered sugar.
Another great aspect of this recipe is that it is very variable 😌. For example, you can turn the madeleine into chocolate madeleine by adding cocoa powder, or make delicious nut madeleines by adding chopped nuts. So there are no limits to the ideas!
The vegan madeleines keep fresh in an airtight box for a few days and are therefore also the perfect gift for the next birthday party or the next coffee party 😉.
I hope I could convince you that vegan does not mean renunciation, but simply a different kind of pleasure 😋. Try it out for yourself and let yourself be inspired by the vegan madeleines! And who knows, maybe you'll be as in love with these little French treats as I am!
