Do you love Thai food? Then we have prepared a special treat for you today: Vegan Larb! 😋 Is your answer "What is Larb?"- don't worry, we will be happy to explain. Larb is a traditional Thai dish that often consists of pork or chicken. But today we transform this dish into a delicious, healthy and animal-friendly version - the vegan version of Larb. 🙂
Have you watched the video? Great! Now you have a nice idea of how the vegan Larb is prepared! 😉 Let's go in depth and go through the process step by step. But before we do, let's take some time to explore what makes the Larb so special. 😈
Larb is not just a dish - it's a taste experience! 😃 Every bite of Larb delivers a blend of sweet, sour, spicy and umami flavors, which your palate will simply love! 😋 The key is the various herbs and spices that go into this dish - cilantro, mint, lime juice, chili and more. Best of all, it's incredibly easy to prepare! 👍
Now that we have all our ingredients ready, we can start the cooking process! 😄
Step 1: Start by cutting the tofu into small cubes. Then heat the oil in a pan and fry the tofu until it is nice and crispy and golden. 👍
Step 2: While the tofu is frying, you can chop the onion, garlic and chili. Once the tofu is done, remove it from the pan and set aside. 🤣
Step 3: Now add the chopped onion, garlic and chili to the pan and fry until soft and aromatic 😉.
Step 4: Now return the fried tofu to the pan and add soy sauce and sugar. Stir well so that all ingredients are well mixed together. 😋
Step 5: Lastly, add the chopped cilantro and mint leaves and stir well. Season with lime juice and serve 🙂 .
And there you have it - a delicious, healthy and simple version of Thai Larb! 👍 You see, eating vegan doesn't mean sacrificing taste! We hope you'll love this recipe as much as we do! 😊
