Follow us on this culinary adventure and discover how fantastic vegan cuisine can taste! 🥙💚
First, watch this entertaining and informative video to get a first impression of how to prepare your vegan kebap.
To start preparing our vegan kebap, we obviously need the right ingredients. Here is our shopping list:
Seitan 🌾 is an excellent vegetable substitute for meat, ideal for our vegan kebap. First, we cut the seitan into thin strips and fry it in vegetable oil. Make sure to turn it regularly so that it browns evenly. 👌🏻 Then we season it with salt, bell pepper, curry, paprika and cumin to taste.
Now the Vegetables the turn. 🍅 We cut the onion, white cabbage, bell bell pepper and tomato into thin strips or cubes and set them aside. The lettuce can be chosen however you like - whether it's iceberg, romaine or spinach - the main thing is that it's fresh and crunchy! 👍🏻
Our next step is the preparation of the Flatbreads. 🥙 You can either use ready-made wholemeal flatbread or make your own if you're feeling particularly adventurous! 😉 Both options are delicious. Our tip: Toast the flatbread just before serving and spread some garlic sauce on top.
Now we come to the most exciting part- the Compilation of our vegan kebap! 🎉 We top our pita bread alternately with the toasted seitan, vegetable strips, and lettuce. Finally, we add a generous blob of garlic sauce on top. Voila - our vegan kebap is ready to serve! 🌮
Now the time has finally come to enjoy your homemade delicious vegan kebap! 😍 We hope you will love this recipe as much as we do. Bon appetit! 🍴
Create your very own vegan kebap variations against the background of this basic recipe! Experiment with different vegetables, swap the pita bread for pita, or try out different vegan sauces. The possibilities are endless, so make sure your vegan kebap never gets boring! 🔄
